Version 1 "Magpie"

The first official version of the Classani app.

Introduction

Welcome to Version 1 of Classani! This version of the app is named after Magpies, one of Australia's most famous birds.

This version of the app is designed with a swift ideal in mind, such that, users are able to get started with a stable version of the app as soon as possible.

Below are the newly added available features. Enjoy!

Classrooms & Scheduling

Available now, use our trained algorithm to automatically make scheduled class sessions for your organisation. My algorithm works for most organisations sized small or big.

At lightning speed, the service will run your job in the background, while you do what you do best.

Available to Organisation Administrators only.

Show Instructions & Preview

1. Go to your Organisation Settings

2. Open the Scheduling tab

3. Press the Create Job button

4. Fill out the form and select the appropriate Subjects & Classrooms

5. Press Save & Continue

6. Let our computers do the job

7. Your class sessions will show up in your, and the respective staff & students' homepage

Notifications

Inform your students by sending out a lovely notification.

1. Go to a subject

2. On the top right, press New Notification from the three Control Panel

3. Complete the form as presented by the modal

Assessments

You can now create assessments, basically like a task, where you can allow students to view their grades and so on.

We are, as far as we are concerned, one of the first people in the industry to implement CSV importation of grades.

Creating Assessments

1. Go to the page of a subject

2. On the top right, at the controls section, press Create Assessment

3. Fill out the form with any content you like

Editing Grades

1. Continuing from the last task, go to the assessment, on the top right controls, press Edit Grades

2. Find your name under List of Members

3. Edit your grades and press Save & Continue

OR to import using CSVs

1. Follow the instructions on your screen and fill out an Excel or Google spreadsheet, and export it as a CSV file (recommended to just edit the sample CSV file)

2. Upload the CSV file

Finally:

1. Go back to the Assessment page by pressing Go Back on the Edit Grades page

2. On your right, under Your Results, press to reveal

Concluding Words

This version of Classani in addition to the aforementioned features also lays out some of the fundamental features for the app, such as Subjects and the Authentication system.

The features in this version are there to build out a strong base for Classani's future versions.
