Introduction
Hello, this is the release notes for Version 3, codenamed Crimson Rosella.
This version of Classani aims to explore innovative ideas and create more unique features, with improvements to newer and better technology where necessary.
This version also aims to invite investors and to formalise Classani as a safe, reliable and beneficial platform for all.
New in 3.0
Credits & Credits Plan
If you are an existing subscription user, your subscription will be cancelled at the next billing cycle.
It will automatically convert to a Credits Plan of the equal billing amount.
Formerly, we use a fixed subscription to bill you and decide how much you need to pay for each month, now you can decide for yourself, with Credits, you can choose how much you need, which decides how much you will pay.
This allows me to add more features later. *wink*
We also added Credits Plan, which gives you Credits each month, and of course, at a discounted price.
Pay As You Go
You can choose here how much you need, which decides how much you pay, based on what features you actually purchase. Of course, there is a generous free usage limit given to you already.
Better Schedules
Your schedules will now always display, at minimum from 8 AM to 5 PM. This allows us to use the new schedule view everywhere, instead of sometimes displaying a text-based schedule.
*This does not apply to mobile users, sorry.
Smoother Movements
You can now move between selected pages easier with our integration with a new technology, HTMX. This reduces your network load and also improves response times.
Improved Security
Classani now uses hCaptcha when you carry out load-intensive actions to prevent spam.
New in 3.1
Verifications
We have rolled out the Verification feature in Beta allowing users to verify their identities using a Victorian WWCC (level 1) and/or other forms of government-issued IDs (level 2).
This is an optional feature and it is released as a Beta to detect any issues early before the Listings feature release in due time. Whether you verify or not has no impact on your experience at the moment.
Better Organisation Switching
We have also updated the Switch Organisation menu which should now look a bit more modern!
Infrastructure Updates
We have not had an update in so long and there are a few software limitations that the old website just did not have. We updated to a more modern internal infrastructure to ensure a better user & developer experience.
